Want Your Criminal Record Expunged?

Having a criminal record can be problematic in many areas of your life, particularly if you are applying for jobs or housing. People who have been convicted of crimes in the past or who have participated in pretrial intervention (PTI) may be able to have their criminal records expunged or sealed.

Would you like to know if you can seal a criminal record? Talk to our attorneys and find out if you are eligible. We are knowledgeable about the types of crimes that are expungeable as well as time limits for waiting to have a criminal record expunged.

What Is Expungement?

When a criminal record is expunged, the record is sealed. When a record is sealed, it becomes unavailable to people who may be running a background check on that individual. If you are applying for a job or trying to rent a place to live, your past criminal record will not be available.

Not all types of crimes can be expunged. For example, a murder conviction cannot be expunged. Additionally, most crimes have a waiting period before eligibility for expungement. Our Flemington expungement attorneys are highly knowledgeable about the offenses that are eligible for record sealing as well as the timelines.

If you have a criminal record, you owe it to yourself to see if you can have it expunged. Talk to an attorney at Lanza & Lanza about your options.
